College Recruiting

 Having been a College Baseball Coach for 7 years, as well as a Head coach for 1, In the Best Division III Conference in the Country, as well as receiving a scholarship to a Division I school, the process has become quite familiar to me. I would like to give any advice, help, and insight, to those I can help Inform. I truly believe there is no direct blueprint to the recruiting process, and a lot of the process is great timing mixed with a hint of good fortune. There are definitely things, that student athletes can do, to help put one’s self in better position to be recruited, seen, noticed, or remembered. 

  We know that for many families, this process is a bit frightening and uncharted territory, if in fact you have never been down this road before. The process becomes a bit of a business for the coaches and institutions, as it’s a waiting game, as well as a numbers game. Coaches and recruiters essentially projecting the ability of one, and how they can foresee you one day in their program. 

 Many families seeking to  highlight their hopeful athletes turn to high-level club sports  programs, which cost anywhere from $1,500 to $5,000 a year.

As a part of the Diamond Studs Program all players who would like to explore college ball are encouraged to do so. Some start as early as sophmore year, some start their senior year regardless of when you start Coach Zilg will help facilitate along the way.

 All recruiting tapes include a custom introduction, complete with photo(s) and text, along with any type of music you would like (if any). We also give you the highlight film file so you can have it, along with a link to the video on our YouTube channel so you can email it to coaches, and we also can post it on twitter for more exposure. We also add important tags and keywords to the video so google can index it to make it searchable. We do all this at no extra cost.
